The BSCEE Leader’s Meeting was held during the 2006 International Conference of Banking Supervisors (ICBS). The meeting was attended by the Senior Executives from the 15 Member Countries of the Regional Group of Banking Supervisors from Central and Eastern Europe.

The representatives of the BSCEE Group Member Countries during the meeting discussed two main areas of suprevisory concerns in the region:

• Corporate Governance
• Home-Host Relations  

The BSCEE Member Countries decided during the Leader's Meeting in Merida that next XX Annual Conference of the Group of Banking Supervsiors from Central and Eastern Europe will be hosted by the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority in Budapest.
