The members of BSCEE consist of banking supervisory units from Albania, Belarus, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine.
The purpose of the BSCEE Group is:
- to encourage and help research, training and educational programs and in general, all activities related to the functions of its members
- to promote and maintain close cooperation and communication among the Central and Eastern European banking supervisory units
- to facilitate the Central and Eastern European banking supervisory units for a better performance of their supervisory functions
- to serve as a high-level forum for the technical discussions, conferences
- to provide possibility for exchange of supervisory techniques, experiences, information and know-how
- to help with the integration to the European banking supervisory system
- the representation before the Basle Committee
BSCEE is made up of the Member's Conference, the Chairman and the Technical Secretariat.
BSCEE is presently operating as a non-registered organizational form for an indefinite period of time.
BSCEE has to be an open organization, therefore further banking supervisory units from Central and Eastern European Countries can enter into the group anytime, by the acceptance of the Agreement of the Group.
